And because winter is slowly coming to Lima, and there are more and more gloomy cold mornings, I love to drink this beautiful, creamy smoothie to start a day right. Papaya and pineapple are one of these fruits that are available here all year round at great quality. Sweet, ripe, full of flavor. Amazing!

In all my recipes 1 teaspoon equals 5 ml, 1 tablespoon equals 20 ml, 1 cup equals 250 ml. Spoons and cups are lightly packed.

 1 cup Diced pineapple (frozen will be the best)
 1 cup Diced papaya
 ¾ cup Orange juice
 Sugar (to taste, optional)

Place all the ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth. Taste if some sweetener is needed. If so add a bit, and blend again.

Serve chilled!
