Pecan Apple Crumble

I love a good fruit crumble! Warm fruits under crispy topping – perfection! My Pecan Apple Crumble is super easy to make and you don’t need any baking skills(which I lack, so I guess that’s the reason why I love this dessert so much)! It’s quite an effortless recipe – chop apples, cover with a crumble topping and bake. That’s it. No tricky steps! This recipe is really simple and you’ll need just a few ingredients.

The classic apple crumble doesn’t contain nuts, but I love to add them! They work perfectly with apples.

What you will need for this Pecan Apple Crumble:

  1. Apples – choose your favourite ones! I like to use apples that are a bit tart.
  2. Pecans – or any other nuts, for example walnuts or almonds.
  3. Flour, butter, oats – to make the crumble topping.
  4. Cinnamon and vanilla extract – just a bit!
  5. Sugar – to taste, the amount depends a lot of the type of apple you use.

An incredibly comforting dessert that’s full of sweet, tender apples, warming spices, and crispy pecan topping.

Pecan Apple Crumble With Ice Cream

Homemade vanilla ice cream and coconut caramel

I served this beautiful crumble with homemade vanilla ice cream. You don’t need any special tools to make delicious, no-churn ice cream at home. It’s super simple, no ice cream maker required! The recipe is quick, easy, and you just need 3 ingredients – condensed milk, whipping cream, and vanilla extract.

I additionally put coconut salted caramel on top! It was divine! This salted caramel is made with coconut milk so it is sweet, salty, sticky, and with a hint of toasted coconut flavor.
