Pineapple Kiwi Smoothie

I am all about smoothies these days and this gorgeous pineapple kiwi smoothie is a perfect way to brighten up even the coldest and gloomiest day. It’s winter time in Lima!! 🌧

I am a huge pineapple fan and the combination of fresh, juicy pineapple, kiwi, and orange juice is just divine! You won’t be disappointed.

So here it is, another tasty smoothie idea! 🙂

What you need

As with my other smoothie recipes, this beautiful smoothie is really quick and easy to make. And you’ll need just 5 ingredients (2 of them are totally optional!) and 5 minutes to make it.

Here’s all you need:

  • Fresh, ripe pineapple – you can use also frozen one (don’t add ice cubes then).
  • Fresh kiwis
  • Orange juice
  • Fresh mint or basil (optional)
  • Honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes

That’s it! Super simple and super tasty! 🙂

When you add fresh mint or basil, this smoothie becomes really refreshing. I love to add it, but it’s totally optional. The same applies to honey – if you want your smoothie more tangy than sweet, skip it!

In all my recipes 1 teaspoon equals 5 ml, 1 tablespoon equals 15 ml, 1 cup equals 250 ml. Spoons and cups are lightly packed.

 2 cups Fresh pineapple (cubed)
 3 Kiwis
 ½ cup Orange juice
 A few ice cubes
 1 tbsp Honey (optional)
 A few fresh mint or basil leaves (optional)

Peel and cut kiwis and pineapple.

Place all the ingredients in the blender - kiwi, pineapple, ice cubes, honey, mint leaves, orange juice.

Blend until smooth.

Serve!
