Ham Pasta With Zucchini

This is the dish that I was making during my university years all the time! I love it! This ham pasta is really quick, simple, inexpensive, and seriously tasty! It’s ready in less than 20 minutes, and you’ll need just a few ingredients to make it!

It can’t go wrong! Plus, delicious pasta is ALWAYS a good idea.

This is the perfect recipe when:

  1. You’re busy and you want to eat something good, and you want to eat it fast.
  2. You’re feeling meeeeh and you don’t want to spend long hours in the kitchen.
  3. You bought too much zucchini and now you don’t know what to do with it.
  4. You have some leftover ham in the fridge.
  5. You’re looking for an inexpensive, but tasty dinner idea.

How to make it

What you need:

  1. Pasta – any you like.
  2. Reserved water from cooking the pasta – to create the sauce.
  3. One small zucchini. Or half a big one. And if you don’t like zucchini at all, add asparagus or broccoli instead.
  4. Ham – any you like. There’s no strict rule how much ham you should add. It’s up to you. And you can use bacon or chicken too! Or smoked salmon. It’s the perfect recipe for using leftovers in the fridge.
  5. Onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs – to seasons the pasta. Oregano and basil work great here. Parsley will be nice too.
  6. Butter, olive oil, and cream – to create the sauce. Although I find the cream to be optional. Even without it, the pasta will be tasty!

You can add some cheese but it’s not really needed, even with just the ingredients listed above, the pasta will be great!

I like to keep this dish super simple, but if you want to, you can adjust the recipe even more – trying adding basil pesto or sun-dried tomatoes.

How to make this delicious Ham Pasta With Zucchini? Basically, you just need to chop all the ingredients, fry on the pan, and toss with your favorite cooked pasta. Easy as that!
