Grate the onion. Soak breadcrumbs in milk. Grate parmesan.
In a big bowl combine together meat, grated onion, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, herbs, paprika powder, chilli powder, salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of water. Work with the meat until soft and all the ingredients are mixed well.
Using an ice cream scoop and hands form meatballs.
Heat a large non-stick pan, skillet, or pot with a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Brown the meatballs. They shouldn't be fully cooked - just browned nicely. When ready, remove the meatballs from the pan.
Add tomatoes, wine, water, herbs, cinnamon. Bring to boil. The sauce should simmer energetically for about 5 minutes, until it starts to thicken slightly.
